Onion Barletta has semi-flattened bulbs with a thick neck and white, thin and delicate skin. It has a sweet and mild taste that goes well with most recipes. The plant is requires low maintenance and very easy to grow, and are therefore great for beginner gardeners. The onions are best used in skewers, pickles and as spring vegetables with peas.
