Monstera adansonii, also known as the Swiss cheese plant, is both retro and trendy! A very easy to grow houseplant, it is prized for its deep glossy green foliage which as it grows is particularly impressive with large heart shaped leaves that have distinctive deeply cut leaves. The Swiss cheese plant is fairly easy to care for and maintain, but will need extra space to grow, it will add a beautiful tropical touch where ever you choose to locate it. Native of tropical rain forests of southern Mexico. Gentle sunlight is fine but direct sun might be harmful.

The Swiss Cheese plant, gets its name from its large, heart-shaped leaves, which become covered with holes that resemble swiss cheese as it gets older. Part of the Araceae family that’s native to South and Central America, this Monstera is easy to grow and loves to climb and grow upwards.

Monstera obliqua is a species of the genus Monstera native to Central and South America. The most well known form of obliqua is the one from Peru, often described as being “more holes than leaf” but there are forms in the obliqua complex with little to no fenestration.
