Mimosa pudica, In Latin pudica means shy, bashful or shrinking. Mimosa is also called sensitive plant, sleepy plant, action plant, touch-me-not, shameplant. Mimosa is a creeping annual or perennial flowering plant of the pea/legume family Fabaceae.
