Calendula officinalis is Fast-growing, erect, sometimes spreading annuals with inversely lance-shaped to spoon-shaped, softly hairy, aromatic leaves, to 15cm long. Daisy-like, single or double, orange, yellow, gold, cream, or apricot flowerheads, to 10cm across, many with dark disc-florets, are borne profusely from summer to autumn.
