Agave attenuata, Spineless Century makes a bold statement in any garden! This native Mexican plant forms rosettes of succulent-like, soft fleshy, lime green to bluish leaves, fantastic for adding interesting form and texture to garden beds. Agaves have long been highlighted in gardening magazines and television shows, used as features in pots, courtyards and landscapes. They are particularly popular in modern garden designs. Plant is more suited for smaller landscapes due to its smaller stature than the Century Plant. Foliage is a soft light blueish-green and does not terminate in a spine. The emerging group of leaves forms an attractive cone shape in the center of the plant. It can be included in gardens frequented by children, whereas the spines on the Century Plant can be hazardous with youngsters nearby.
